Acehnese Spicy Beef Skewers

Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs beef sirloin, cut into cubes
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 red chilies, finely chopped
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped red chilies, ground turmeric, ground coriander, ground cumin, soy sauce, vegetable oil, and salt.
- Add the beef cubes to the marinade and mix until the beef is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Thread the marinated beef cubes onto the soaked wooden skewers.
- Heat a grill or stovetop grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the skewers for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove the skewers from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
