Ingredients
- 1 lb venison steaks
- 1 cup mixed wild mushrooms, sliced

- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Season the venison steaks with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, mirin, sake, garlic, and ginger to make the marinade.
- Brush the venison steaks with the marinade and let them sit for 10 minutes.
- While the venison is marinating, heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the sliced wild mushrooms to the skillet and sauté until they are tender.
- Grill the venison steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or to your desired level of doneness.
