Ingredients

  • 4 duck breasts
  • 1 cup wild berries

Instructions

  1. Score the skin of the duck breasts and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a pan over medium heat and place the duck breasts skin-side down. Cook for 6-8 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  3. Flip the duck breasts and cook for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare, or longer to your desired doneness. Remove from the pan and let rest.
  4. In the same pan, add the wild berries, soy sauce, mirin, and honey. Cook until the berries break down and the sauce thickens.
  5. Slice the duck breasts and serve with the wild berry reduction.
