Ingredients

Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, ají de gallina sauce, chopped onion, walnuts, parmesan cheese, evaporated milk, vegetable oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture onto the center of each empanada disc.
- Brush the edges of the empanada discs with the beaten egg, then fold the dough over the filling to create a half-moon shape. Press the edges together to seal, then crimp with a fork to create a decorative edge.
- Place the empanadas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and brush the tops with the remaining beaten egg.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 25-30 minutes, or until the empanadas are golden brown and crispy.
