Ingredients
- 2 cups grated malanga
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup finely chopped scallions
- 1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup water
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the grated malanga, flour, scallions, parsley, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Add water gradually and mix until you have a thick batter.
- In a deep skillet, heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove the fried dumplings and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
