Ingredients
- 12 large mushrooms, stems removed and reserved
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Chop the mushroom stems and sauté them with the onion and garlic in olive oil until softened.
- Remove from heat and stir in the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Spoon the filling into the mushroom caps and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the filling is golden brown.
