Ingredients
- 1 lb Alberta beef, thinly sliced
- 2 bell peppers, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Marinate the beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and sugar for 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Stir-fry the beef until browned, then remove from the wok and set aside.
- Heat the remaining oil in the wok, then add the garlic and ginger. Stir-fry until fragrant.
- Add the bell peppers and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
- Return the beef to the wok, pour in the beef broth, and stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve hot.
