Ingredients
- 1 lb Alberta beef, thinly sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and beef broth. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add the beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove beef from the wok and set aside.
- In the same wok, add a little more oil if needed. Stir-fry the garlic and ginger until fragrant.
- Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp.
- Return the beef to the wok and pour the sauce over the beef and broccoli. Stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and broccoli.
- Drizzle with sesame oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
