Ingredients
- 1 lb Alberta beef, thinly sliced
- 2 cups snow peas, trimmed
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, sugar, and beef broth. Set aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add the beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the wok and set aside.
- Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the wok. Add the garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the snow peas to the wok and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they are bright green and crisp-tender.
- Return the beef to the wok and pour in the sauce mixture. Stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and snow peas.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
