Ingredients
- 1 lb Alberta beef, thinly sliced
- 8 oz chow mein noodles
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (such as bell peppers, carrots, and snow peas)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil chow mein noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
- Add beef slices and stir-fry until browned, then remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and mixed vegetables, stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Return the beef to the skillet, then add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
- Add the cooked chow mein noodles to the skillet and toss to combine with the beef and vegetables.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, then remove from heat.
- Serve the Alberta Beef Chow Mein hot and enjoy!
