Ingredients

  • 4 large artichokes
  • 2 lemons, halved

Instructions

  1. Prepare the artichokes by removing the tough outer leaves and trimming the tops. Cut them in half and remove the fuzzy choke with a spoon.
  2. Rub the cut sides of the artichokes with the halved lemons to prevent browning.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the minced garlic with the olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Preheat a grill pan over medium heat. Brush the artichokes with the garlic and olive oil mixture.
  5. Grill the artichokes for about 5 minutes on each side, or until they are tender and have nice grill marks.
  6. Remove from the grill and serve hot.
