Ingredients

  • 2 pounds fresh clams

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, soak the clams in cold water for 20 minutes to remove any sand or grit. Drain and rinse the clams thoroughly.
  2. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the clams to the pot and sprinkle the Spanish paprika over the top. Cover the pot with a lid and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the clams have opened.
  4. Discard any clams that have not opened. Season the clams with salt to taste.
