Almond And Honey Flan

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup ground almonds
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a blender, combine the eggs, sweetened condensed milk, whole milk, ground almonds, honey, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture into a flan mold or a 9-inch round baking dish.
  4. Place the flan mold or baking dish in a larger roasting pan. Fill the roasting pan with hot water until it reaches halfway up the sides of the flan mold or baking dish.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the flan is set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Remove the flan from the oven and let it cool to room temperature. Then, refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  7. To serve, run a knife around the edges of the flan and invert it onto a serving plate. The caramel sauce will flow over the top of the flan.
