Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup ground almonds
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a blender, combine the eggs, sweetened condensed milk, whole milk, ground almonds, honey, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a flan mold or a 9-inch round baking dish.
- Place the flan mold or baking dish in a larger roasting pan. Fill the roasting pan with hot water until it reaches halfway up the sides of the flan mold or baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the flan is set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove the flan from the oven and let it cool to room temperature. Then, refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- To serve, run a knife around the edges of the flan and invert it onto a serving plate. The caramel sauce will flow over the top of the flan.
