Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the almond flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the eggs and almond extract to the dry ingredients, and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Transfer the dough to the prepared baking sheet and press it into a flat, rectangular shape, about 1/4 inch thick.
  5. Sprinkle the sliced almonds evenly over the top of the dough, pressing them gently to adhere.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the flatbread is golden brown around the edges.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely before slicing into squares or rectangles to serve.
