Aloha Ahi Poke Bowl
Aloha Ahi Poke Bowl is a traditional Hawaiian dish that features fresh, marinated ahi tuna served over a bed of rice and topped with a variety of delicious and colorful toppings.
Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh ahi tuna, cubed
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp honey
- 1/2 tsp ginger, grated
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1/2 avocado, sliced
- 1/2 cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup edamame
- 1/4 cup shredded carrots
- 2 cups cooked white or brown rice
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
- Nori strips, for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, honey, and grated ginger.
- Add the cubed ahi tuna and green onions to the marinade, and gently toss to coat. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
- Divide the cooked rice among serving bowls.
- Top the rice with marinated ahi tuna, avocado, cucumber, edamame, and shredded carrots.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and nori strips.
