Ingredients

  • 2 large potatoes, peeled and cubed

  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  2. Add ginger and garlic paste, green chilies, and sauté for a minute.
  3. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft and the oil separates.
  4. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala. Mix well.
  5. Add the cubed potatoes and cauliflower florets. Mix gently to coat the vegetables with the masala.
  6. Cover and cook on low heat until the potatoes and cauliflower are tender, stirring occasionally.
  7. Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves and serve hot.
