Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 4 medium potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the whole wheat flour with water to form a smooth dough. Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, onion, green chilies, cumin seeds, garam masala, turmeric powder, salt, and coriander leaves to make the filling.
  3. Divide the dough into equal-sized balls and roll each ball into a small circle. Place a portion of the potato filling in the center and fold the edges to seal the filling inside the dough. Roll it out into a paratha shape.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and cook the paratha on both sides until golden brown, brushing with olive oil.
  5. Sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese on top of the cooked parathas and cover the pan to let the cheese melt.
  6. Once the cheese is melted, remove the parathas from the pan and serve hot.
