Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for shallow frying

Instructions

  1. Mix together the mashed potatoes, bread crumbs, red chili powder, garam masala, onions, cilantro, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into round patties.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the patties until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
  4. Place the aloo tikkis on a serving plate and top with sweet chutney, tangy tamarind chutney, yogurt, and sprinkle with sev.
