Ingredients
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 cups of mashed potatoes
- 1 cup of grated cheese
- 1 teaspoon of garam masala
- 1 teaspoon of cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon of red chili powder
- 1/2 cup of finely chopped onions
- 1/4 cup of chopped cilantro
- Salt to taste
- Butter for cooking
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the mashed potatoes, garam masala, cumin powder, red chili powder, onions, cilantro, and salt.
- Place a tortilla on a flat surface and spread a layer of the potato mixture on one half of the tortilla.
- Sprinkle grated cheese on top of the potato mixture.
- Fold the tortilla in half to cover the filling, creating a half-moon shape.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little butter.
- Carefully place the filled tortilla in the skillet and cook until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
- Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.
- Slice the quesadillas into wedges and serve hot.
