Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes, boiled and mashed

  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs

  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the mashed potatoes, chopped onion, green chilies, bread crumbs, red chili powder, garam masala, chaat masala, cumin powder, and salt.
  2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into round patties.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the patties until they are golden brown and crispy on both sides.
  4. Remove the Aloo Tikki from the pan and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  5. Serve hot with mint chutney and tamarind chutney.
