Ingredients

  • 2 medium bitter melons, sliced and deseeded

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Heat the cooking oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Saute the garlic and onion until fragrant.
  3. If using pork, add the pork slices and cook until browned.
  4. Add the tomatoes and cook until softened.
  5. Add the bitter melon slices and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes.
  6. Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce (if using), then add water. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Transfer to a serving dish and serve hot.
