Ingredients
- 500g boneless fish fillets
- 1 cup chickpea flour
- 2 tbsp rice flour
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp carom seeds
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix chickpea flour, rice flour, ginger-garlic paste, carom seeds, red chili powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, yogurt, lemon juice, and salt to form a thick batter.
- Marinate the fish fillets in this batter for 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry the marinated fish fillets until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
- Remove from the pan and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Serve hot with mint chutney or lemon wedges.
