Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 onion, chopped

- 2 sweet potatoes, peeled and diced
- 2 cups okra, sliced

Instructions

- Stir in the ground cumin and paprika, and cook for another minute to toast the spices.

- Add the diced sweet potatoes and sliced okra to the pot. Bring the stew to a simmer, then reduce the heat and let it cook for about 45 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
- Season the stew with salt and pepper to taste, and serve hot.
