Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss the apple slices with lemon juice, 1/4 cup sugar, and cinnamon. Set aside.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, 2 tablespoons sugar, and salt. In another bowl, whisk together the milk and eggs. Gradually whisk the milk mixture into the flour mixture until smooth.
  3. In a large ovenproof skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the apple mixture and cook until the apples are tender, about 5 minutes.
  4. Pour the batter over the apples in the skillet. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake until the pancake is puffed and golden, about 15 minutes.
  5. Slide the pancake onto a serving platter. Cut into wedges and serve hot.
