Apple Blossoms
Apple blossoms are a delightful dessert that combines the flavors of apples, cinnamon, and flaky pastry. These sweet treats are perfect for any occasion and are sure to impress your guests.
Ingredients
- 6 apples, peeled, cored, and diced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 package puff pastry sheets, thawed
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix the diced apples, sugar, and cinnamon until well combined.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut each sheet into 6 squares.
- Brush each square with melted butter.
- Place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each square.
- Bring the corners of the pastry square up to the center, pinching the edges to seal.
- Place the apple blossoms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
