Ingredients

  • 6 apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced

  • 1 package of pre-made pie crusts

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and flour. Toss until the apples are evenly coated.
  3. Roll out the pie crusts and cut them into circles to fit into a muffin tin.
  4. Place the pie crust circles into the muffin tin, pressing them gently to fit the shape.
  5. Fill each tartlet with the apple mixture.
  6. Brush the edges of the tartlets with the beaten egg to create a golden crust.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  8. Allow the tartlets to cool before serving.
