Ingredients
- 1 moose heart, cleaned and trimmed
- 1 cup rendered moose fat
- 1 onion, finely chopped

- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried sage
Instructions
- Preheat the stovetop to medium heat.
- In a skillet, heat the rendered moose fat and sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
- Remove from heat and stir in the bread crumbs, salt, pepper, thyme, and sage to create the stuffing mixture.
- Carefully stuff the moose heart with the prepared stuffing mixture.

- Simmer on low heat for 2 hours, or until the moose heart is tender.
