Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork ribs
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Place the ribs in a large roasting pan.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, ketchup, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  4. Pour the sauce over the ribs, making sure they are evenly coated.
  5. Cover the pan with foil and bake for 1.5 hours.
  6. Remove the foil and increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C).
  7. Baste the ribs with the sauce from the pan and bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until the ribs are caramelized and tender.
