Arctic Char Tartare

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Arctic char, skinless and boneless
  • 1 shallot, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp capers, drained and chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Finely dice the Arctic char and place it in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add the chopped shallot, capers, and fresh dill to the bowl.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, olive oil, and lemon juice. Pour this dressing over the char mixture.
  4. Gently toss the ingredients together until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Divide the tartare into 4 portions and shape each into a neat mound on serving plates.
