Ingredients

  • 4 large bell peppers
  • 1 lb ground meat (beef or pork)
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the ground meat, cooked rice, onion, garlic, tomato, parsley, dill, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff the bell peppers with the meat and rice mixture.
  5. Place the stuffed peppers in a deep baking dish, drizzle with olive oil, and add a little water to the bottom of the dish.
  6. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the filling is cooked through.
  8. Serve the aromatic stuffed peppers hot and enjoy!
