Ingredients

  • 2 cups rice flour
  • 1 cup jaggery, grated
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Oil for deep-frying

Instructions

  1. In a pan, heat water and add grated jaggery. Stir until the jaggery melts and forms a syrup. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine rice flour and the cooled jaggery syrup. Knead into a smooth dough.
  3. Divide the dough into small portions and shape them into flat discs or any desired shape.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan for frying. Deep-fry the shaped dough pieces until they turn golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove from the oil and drain excess oil on a paper towel.
