Ingredients

  • 2 cups rice flour
  • 1 cup jaggery, grated
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Oil for deep-frying

Instructions

  1. In a pan, heat water and add grated jaggery. Stir until the jaggery melts and forms a syrup. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the rice flour with the jaggery syrup to form a smooth dough.
  3. Divide the dough into small portions and shape them into small round balls or any desired shape.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan for deep-frying.
  5. Once the oil is hot, carefully drop the shaped dough balls into the oil and fry until they turn golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove the fried arisha from the oil and drain excess oil on a paper towel.
  7. Arisha is ready to be served. Enjoy the crispy and sweet deep-fried delight!
