Armenian Rice Pudding (Sütlaç)

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup short-grain rice
- 4 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup sugar

Instructions
- In a large saucepan, combine the rice and milk. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring frequently to prevent the rice from sticking to the bottom of the pan.

- Stir in the sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon, and cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the sütlaç cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Divide the sütlaç into serving bowls, sprinkle with a little extra cinnamon if desired, and serve warm or chilled.
