Arroz con Mariscos al Wok (Peruvian Seafood Stir-Fry Rice)
Peruvian Seafood Stir-Fry Rice, also known as Arroz con Mariscos al Wok, is a delicious fusion dish that combines the flavors of Peruvian and Chinese cuisine. This vibrant and aromatic stir-fry rice is packed with a variety of seafood and colorful vegetables, creating a perfect balance of textures and flavors.
Ingredients
- 1 lb mixed seafood (shrimp, squid, mussels)
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok over high heat. Add garlic and onion, and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the mixed seafood and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until cooked through.
- Push the seafood to the side of the wok and add the sliced bell peppers and frozen peas. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
- Push the vegetables to the side and add the cooked white rice to the center of the wok. Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, sesame oil, cumin, and paprika. Mix everything together and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
