Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup chopped dates
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, walnuts, dates, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk and vegetable oil.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
