Ingredients
- 1 cup jasmine rice
- 4 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1 tablespoon rose water
- Slivered almonds and pistachios for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine the rice and milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the rice is tender and the mixture has thickened.
- Stir in the sugar, ground cardamom, and rose water. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sugar is fully dissolved and the pudding has a creamy consistency.
