Asian Cajun
This Asian Cajun recipe combines the bold flavors of Cajun cuisine with the aromatic spices of Asian cooking, creating a unique and delicious fusion dish.
Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 cup snap peas
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning and set aside.
- In another bowl, mix soy sauce and honey, then set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add bell pepper, onion, and snap peas. Cook until vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and pour the soy sauce mixture over the ingredients. Stir to combine and heat through.
- Serve the Asian Cajun shrimp and vegetables over cooked rice.
