Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 teaspoons loose green tea
  • 1 bunch fresh mint
  • 3/4 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Bring the water to a boil in a pot.
  2. Add the loose green tea to the boiling water and let it steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, wash the mint leaves and place them in a teapot.
  4. Pour the steeped tea over the mint leaves in the teapot.
  5. Add the sugar to the teapot and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  6. Let the tea steep with the mint leaves for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Pour the tea into small glasses from a height to create a frothy layer on top.
