Aussie Meat Pie Dumplings (澳洲肉馅饺子)
These Aussie Meat Pie Dumplings are a delicious fusion of Australian and Chinese cuisines, combining the flavors of a classic Aussie meat pie with the convenience of Chinese dumplings.
Ingredients
- 500g ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup beef stock
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 24 dumpling wrappers
Instructions
- In a pan, cook the ground beef and onion until the beef is browned and the onion is soft.
- Add the Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce, and beef stock. Simmer for 10 minutes, then season with salt and pepper.
- Place a spoonful of the meat mixture onto each dumpling wrapper. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, then fold and pleat to seal.
- Steam the dumplings for 8-10 minutes until cooked through.
