Ingredients
- 500g chicken, cut into pieces
- 1 cup bamboo shoots, sliced
- 4-5 ghost chilies, finely chopped
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp mustard oil
- 2-3 tbsp axone (fermented soybean paste)
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat mustard oil in a pan and add the chopped onion. Sauté until golden brown.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
- Add the chopped tomato and cook until soft.
- Add the chicken pieces, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix well and cook for 10 minutes.
- Add the sliced bamboo shoots and chopped ghost chilies. Cook for another 10 minutes.
- Add the axone (fermented soybean paste) and mix well. Cook for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is tender and the flavors are well blended.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
