Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken wings
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 shallots, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon tamarind paste
- 1 lemongrass stalk, bruised
- 4 kaffir lime leaves
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together garlic, shallots, ground coriander, ground turmeric, salt, brown sugar, soy sauce, vegetable oil, and tamarind paste to make the marinade.
- Add the chicken wings to the marinade and coat them evenly. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the marinated chicken wings for about 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are cooked through and have a nice charred exterior.
- Serve the grilled chicken wings hot, garnished with lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves.
