Ingredients
- 500g chicken breast, cut into cubes
- 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red chili, sliced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, and water. Set aside.
- Heat cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, ginger, and red chili. Sauté until fragrant.
- Add the chicken cubes and cook until they are no longer pink.
- Pour the sauce mixture into the pan and stir well. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add the diced mangoes and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the Ayam Mangga hot with steamed rice.
