Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons tandoori masala spice mix
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon minced ginger
- Salt to taste
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the yogurt, tandoori masala spice mix, lemon juice, cumin, turmeric, paprika, garlic, ginger, and salt.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade, making sure they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto the soaked wooden skewers.
- Grill the chicken skewers for about 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are cooked through and slightly charred.
- Serve the Ayam Tandoori hot with naan bread, rice, or a fresh salad.
