  • 2 red chilies, sliced
  • 2 lemongrass stalks, bruised
  • 3 kaffir lime leaves
  • 1 liter chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons tamarind paste
  • 1 tablespoon palm sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a pot, sauté the shallots and garlic until fragrant.
  2. Add the minced pork and cook until browned.
  3. Add the tomatoes, red chilies, lemongrass, and kaffir lime leaves. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  5. Stir in the tamarind paste and palm sugar. Season with salt to taste.
  6. Simmer for 30-40 minutes until the flavors are well combined.
