Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs beef, cut into cubes
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 red chilies, finely chopped
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 8 bamboo skewers, soaked in water
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the onion, garlic, red chilies, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt, brown sugar, and vegetable oil to create the marinade.
- Add the beef cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Thread the marinated beef onto the soaked bamboo skewers.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.
- Grill the beef skewers for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the meat is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
- Remove from the grill and let the skewers rest for a few minutes before serving.
