Ingredients

  • 1 kg potatoes, peeled and boiled

  • 12 ripe plums, pitted
  • 12 sugar cubes
  • Cinnamon and sugar for coating

Instructions

  1. Grate the boiled potatoes and mix with flour and egg to form a dough.
  2. Divide the dough into 12 equal portions and flatten each portion into a small disc.
  3. Place a sugar cube in the center of each pitted plum and wrap the dough around the plum, sealing it completely.
  4. Boil a large pot of water and gently add the dumplings. Cook for about 15-20 minutes or until they float to the surface.
  5. Remove the dumplings with a slotted spoon and roll them in the cinnamon and sugar mixture.
