Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and salt. Cut in the butter using a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the beaten egg until the dough comes together. Shape the dough into a disk, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the dough on a floured surface and fit it into a 9-inch tart pan. Trim any excess dough.
- In a separate bowl, gently toss the blackberries with sugar, cornstarch, and lemon zest. Pour the blackberry mixture into the tart shell.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the blackberry filling is bubbling. Allow the tart to cool before serving.
