Ingredients

  • 4 shark fillets
  • 4 bakes (soft bread rolls)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup sliced tomatoes
  • 1 cup sliced cucumbers
  • 1 cup sliced onions
  • 1 cup tamarind sauce
  • 1 cup garlic sauce
  • 1 cup hot pepper sauce
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the shark fillets with salt and pepper, then coat them in a mixture of all-purpose flour and cornmeal.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the shark fillets until golden brown and crispy, about 5 minutes per side.
  3. Cut the bakes in half and fill each with a fried shark fillet, shredded cabbage, sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions.
  4. Drizzle tamarind sauce, garlic sauce, and hot pepper sauce over the fillings.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!
