Ingredients

  • 500g ground beef
  • 250g macaroni
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 burger buns

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic until the beef is browned and the onion is soft. Drain any excess fat.
  4. Stir in the tomato sauce, oregano, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Combine the cooked macaroni with the meat sauce and half of the grated cheese.
  6. Divide the macaroni mixture into 4 portions and shape each portion into a patty.
  7. Place the macaroni patties on a baking sheet and sprinkle the remaining grated cheese on top of each patty.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Toast the burger buns in the oven for a few minutes.
  10. Assemble the burgers by placing a macaroni patty between each burger bun.
  11. Serve hot and enjoy!
