Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 3/4 cup sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter.
  4. Mix in the baking soda and salt.
  5. Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
  6. Gradually add the flour and cinnamon, mixing until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing and serving.
